Karla Dawn Meier

Karla Dawn Meier finished her M.S.J. degree from the Medill School of Journalism in December 2011. Originally from Minneapolis, Minn., Meier joined Medill after one year as a staff writer for World Tribune, a weekly newspaper exploring Buddhist philosophy, in Santa Monica, Calif. At Medill, she reported on housing issues and education policy. She received her B.A. from Soka University of America in Aliso Viejo, Calif. where she studied American literature and history.
